Hello Ubuntu Server

The purpose of this communication is to provide a status update and highlights for any interesting subjects from the Ubuntu Server Team. cloud-init

  • Ubuntu Bionic SRU validation of 18.2.27 complete
  • Enable Ubuntu Cosmic Integration tests
  • typos: Fix spelling mistakes in cc_mounts.py log messages [Stephen Ford]

curtin

  • efibootmgr filter order by entries (LP: #1767584)
  • Support tmpfs and ramfs mounts (LP: #1767979)
  • Zero former zfs filesystem without zfs installed (LP: #1768384)
  • Revamp clear-holders (LP: #1768893)
  • Better cleanup on ceph devices (LP: #1768893)
  • Fix i386 support (LP: #1768709)
  • Allow enabling proposed during vmtest

open-vm-tools

  • Provide most recent version (10.2) back into Ubuntu Xenial for better virtual hardware support
  • With future releases, will continue to backport latest version back to the latest Ubuntu LTS
